The purpose behind my study...

 

was to determine if targeted social and emotional skills instruction would improve behaviors including self regulation, peer to peer communication, and conflict resolution.

The Study 

 

The conducted study took place between the dates January 13 and March 6, 2020. A group of eighteen sixth grade students underwent social and emotional instruction which targeted specific skills in order to improve communication among peers, conflict resolution strategies, and self regulation. 

Age 

 

Students ranged from 11-12 years old. The eighteen students included ten boys and eight girls.
